Graduate Program

We are excited to meet keen, energetic and ambitious graduate lawyers looking to begin their career with a commercial focus. An opportunity to work at H&O would mean working under specialists in the commercial field and a chance to develop new skills while refining what you will be able to bring to clients and the community. For a graduate who seeks to attend court and develop advocacy skills, H&O has no shortage of such exposure and is in the right position to mentor graduates with such goals.

Undergraduate Program

H&O recognises and holds very highly the value of clerks and legal assistants. Our Undergraduate program is specifically designed to meet the needs of new staff who have not yet worked in the legal space. Our 4 week “Intro to H&O” program for undergraduates is tailored to enable young students to enter the space comfortably, with confidence and with the knowledge to enable their own growth as well as getting the most out of our focused support.

We are looking a for a senior solicitor to work in our Sydney office in the areas of commercial and corporate law. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years Post Admission Experience (PAE) and be able to provide clear technical advice to both sophisticated corporations and small business commercial clients.

Employment Type: Full Time.

Location: Adelaide, Sydney.

We are looking for a senior solicitor to work in our Sydney or Adelaide office in the areas of Banking, Financial Products & Tax. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years Post Admission Experience (PAE) and be confident in providing technical advice and advocacy services to both private and corporate clients with an appetite to build their own client network.

We are looking for solicitor to work in either of our Sydney or Adelaide offices to support our already established practice teams. The role will have both client facing and advisory opportunities with the potential for an advocacy pathway. We are looking for a senior legal secretary to assist with our firm’s office administration needs. The ideal candidate will have office administration experience in the legal or professional services sector and be an organised, driven individual who is keen to join a vibrant and inclusive workplace.

We are looking for an office account manager with trust accounting experience to assist our Adelaide and Sydney offices. The ideal candidate will be able to invoice clients from draft work in progress bills, reconcile trust accounts and receipt incoming and outgoing funds.
